15 Jul Elderflower Cold and Flu Tea
A winter recipe to help relieve upper respiratory congestion and soothes throats.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Elderberry Tea
- 1 teaspoon Peppermint Tea
- 1/2 juice of a lemon
- 1 teaspoon of honey
Method
Bring water to boil, let it settle for 2 minutes, then pour one cup of hot water of tea and steep for a least 5 minutes if not a little longer, then strain.
Add lemon and honey.
Drink this as a warm tea.
Or for a cooling soothing remedy, you can chill in fridge then adding 1/2 cup of mineral water and a sprig of fresh mint.
